Doc Moseman, a member of The Professional Handicappers League, and former Las Vegas bookmaker Nick Bogdanovich tied in their Leroy's Money Talks showdown last weekend, with the two players earning the same amount of (hypothetical) cash.

They will submit another seven selections on air this weekend during the match between Professional Handicappers League member Bryan Leonard and fellow Las Vegas handicapper Alf Musketa.

Money Talks competitors put up $2,500 to get into the contest. Leroy's, which operates more than 60 Nevada sports books, added another $10,000.

The champion will earn $40,000, the runnerup $10,000.

Matches are held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino on the fabled Las Vegas Strip.

Picks are revealed on a Friday night radio show that airs from 8 to 9 p.m. (PST) on KDWN-720AM. Former bookmaker Jimmy Vacarro and gaming figure and author Arne Lang are co-hosts.

Player selections range from $770 (to win $700) down to $110 (to win $100).

Moseman won on Michigan minus 25 ($700), Pitt minus 11 1/2 ($400), Minnesota minus 5 ($300), Clemson minus 1 1/2 ($200) and Purdue minus 23 ($100).

He lost on Wisconsin minus 2 1/2 ($500) and California plus 19 ($600).

Bogdonovich's winners were Minnesota ($600), Idaho plus 9 ($500), Broncos minus 3 ($400), and Houston ($200).

His losers were Utah minus 5 ($700), Rams plus 6 1/2 ($300) and Oklahoma minus 13 ($100).
