Gravity, the mysterious invisible agent which pervades the whole universe: which makes things fall; orbs circle the sun, and create perpetual motion from the solar system, throughout.

(Emanation of providence) “…but what are its properties?” so questioned the good professor night after night in his study room.

“Can we devour it? Neutralize it?

Thus, the day did come when he created a gravitation pill, believe it or not, he did, and it was the paramount moment in his life. But who could he tell; ah yes, he deliberated, then he did better than that, he decided to demonstrate.

Henceforward, he took this awful tasting pill and stood by his chair, he wrote in his diary: ‘The pill has made me almost weightless.’

Then all of a sudden his hair, all his hair, all over his body stood at attention; his arms flung upward, everything involuntary (muscles out of control).

He opened up his third story window in his bedroom, he was going to attempt to jump, see what would happen, if this pill was really what he thought it to be: would do. Thus he walked quickly over to the bed, then slowly to his window, slowly of course, for he was unsteady. He felt like falling onto his bed, but he made it to the window.

Quicker than a cockroach, he leaped out of the window and found himself likened to a balloon, floating upwards, motionless, yes he ascended. People below him were starting to stop, look, listen and move about to get a better view of this so called: bird-man.

Could life be so generous, thought the Professor, as he floated along side his apartment building, looking down upon the city? It was within a few minutes people started to call this wonder, or freak of nature: demonic: but had they known, even demons are subject to gravity, if they were not, they’d not be around long.

He was hoping no one would shoot an arrow, or bullet into him, save he’d surely fall to his fate. So he looked about as he saw the crowed getting larger, looking for something, someplace to land, should the pill ware off.

He had not been in the air more than twenty minutes and the pill did start to fade with its unusual results, and thus, the professor wiggled his body to an alley way, and once landed, ran like hell so no one would recognize him. Then instead of going to a café for coffee, he went to a bar, had two shots of whiskey, and looked at himself on TV; everyone in the bar was watching this strange person flying, and wiggle like a demon around a building: but of course, no one could make out just who he was…thank goodness.
