Tropical Storm Stan grew fast into a Hurricane and it is intent on making landfall. Hurricane Stan like his half sisters Katrina and Rita is looking to enjoy the warm waters in the Gulf this Spring. Stan has quite a strong set of records to beat, as he grows.

Stan to beat out his half sisters will need to become the number two largest and most powerful storm in United States History? Can he do it? Cat Five Hurricanes Katrina and Rita were, as Hurricanes go some of the most perfectly developed storms meteorologists had ever seen. Good symmetry, eye walls and their sizes were truly magnificent. Unfortunately for civilization that equates to havoc and chaos to all we are and all we have built.

Hurricane Katrina and Rita seemed to make the ancient city of Atlantis more believable. A great advanced civilization destroyed by disaster and sunk forever to the depths of the see. Will Stan be the Hurricane, which finally wakes us up, to rebuild our cities stronger with more respect to the power of Mother Nature? Hurricane Stan is the eighteenth named storm of this record Hurricane Season, with furious winds and strength; we will soon find out, the hard way. Will we learn our lesson this Hurricane Season as Hurricane Stan plans to make a serious strike to our society? Think on it.
