Deciding to go to a tradeshow is a big investment for a company. You have to travel, bring your product and, most importantly, set up a tradeshow display to bring in your attention and (hopefully) business. A lot rests on how the tradeshow display looks. If it’s high quality, you will benefit; if it’s not, your business could be a bust. How do you put together a great tradeshow display? Read on:
Musts for a Tradeshow Display
When you look for a top-notch tradeshow display, you must have several in order to draw customers to your business. Most important piece is to have your company’s logo clearly displayed along with company information. You need to tell customers what they should know about your company and how it can help them. Banners should be in a bold font that people can read easily. The font should be consistent throughout your signs. The more everything looks similar, the more professional it will look. But don’t use bold colors for everything. Muted colors are better for information, while wild colors are for attention. Make sure the colors are consistent throughout, so your display doesn’t look odd.
Avoid These Tradeshow Display Mistakes
Don’t go overboard while making a display. You want your company to make an impression, but not because of a loud and gaudy display. Newcomers will throw everything and the kitchen sink at the display with fluorescent colors and complex fonts. You want your tradeshow display to be understood easily by potential customers. You don’t want them left scratching their heads. Times Roman or Courier are the best fonts to select, because fonts with more swirls and details aren’t easily decipherable. You want people to concentrate on your message and not have to try hard to figure out what you’re saying.
Displays That Stay With You
With so many tradeshows to attend, your company should consider having a portable display to keep for years and take everywhere. But you need to make sure that display contains information that will last, like your company’s name, logo and main product. You can add the latest and greatest information easier if the basics remain the same. You only have to rework the display if you rework the entire company.
Remember how the tradeshow display works alongside your goals. Educate the consumer, get your message out and that impression you make on them will reap rewards in the future.
