Advertising is all about what you can give a person.
I’m not thinking about the business when I pick up a catalog. All I’m thinking about is what can I get that I have interest in and where can I get the best deal. Buying is all about me, not them, so I want a business to focus on me when it comes to the way they advertise.
Something any business should be aware of for any kind of marketing is that you need to know what the customer wants and do your best to give it to them. Now what this boils down to is the kind of offer you can make them. The better the offer, the better chances there are that they’ll have interest in shopping with you.
When you use catalog printing what are the offers you put in them? This could be something as simple as a great deal, or a good discount. The offer doesn’t have to be that complicated, and if you’re able to cut your prices down lower than the competition then that’s your offer right there. You’re giving them better prices.
However, a good offer can extend to more than just big discounts. There are all sorts of different ways that a company can form a great offer to their potential customers.
With booklet printing the offer can sometimes be information. If you’re in an industry that isn’t as easily understood, using booklet printing to explain
to people what it is you do offers them the ability to make a more informed decision. This is the service you’re providing them for free in order to get them to buy your real services.
People have all sorts of different needs from a business. Companies using newsletter printing are able to tell their customers a lot more about their inner workings than other companies will. The benefit of this is that you allow a customer to get to know more about you, which makes them feel closer to you. Offering to give them a peek into your business with newsletter printing might be the very hook you need to reel them in.
No matter what method you do you obviously need to know enough about your customer base to make it work. Each industry will have its own avenues that work best for them. The first example of using catalog printing to offer good discounts or even free examples only works if you happen to run a business that is capable of handing those discounts out.
Ask yourself what it is you like from businesses and what offers you just can’t refuse to take. Once you know that apply the information to your own business. The better your offer is, the better the chances are that your customers won’t be able to refuse to take you up on it.
