There is significantly less paperwork involved and you will not have to endure a credit check or anything like that. As cell phones go, it is really the only thing anywhere near a easy over the counter transaction.

An elderly relative may be avoiding the technology of cell phones, but having one around for emergencies might be something you can persuade them to do.
