Maintains and clarifies job priorities. 4. Motivates employees. 5. Deals with performance problems effectively and in a timely manner. 6. Builds self-esteem of employees. 7. Allows supervisor and employee to share thoughts, ideas, and issues.

Yes: “Tom, how can we prevent these double shipments in the future?” No: “You have to file the green copies as soon as the order is written and check the folder at shipping and at billing time. There’s no other way to control the problem.”
