HP- Power cable IEC 320 EN 60320 C19 (F) - NEMA 5-15 (M)
(235603-001)
Power Cable is primarily used in the electric utility, commercial and industrial market place. It is actually an assembly of two or more electrical conductors, which are usually held together by an overall sheath. For transmission of electrical power, assembly is used. These cables can be buried in the ground, run overhead, or exposed. The power cables can also be installed as permanent wiring within the buildings. Flexible power cables are used for portable and mobile tools and machinery.
The cables are mainly composed of three major components. These components are the conductors, protection and insulations. The cables vary in terms of voltage, and the capacity to carry current.
The aluminum/copper conductors are made of stranded wire, so that the cables can be made flexible. The cables have metal sheath covering while the wires used for outdoor overhead may not have any sheath covering.
