Menorca is one of the smaller islands when compared to other Balearic Islands and is the furthest from the mainland. Even though it lies just a short distance of about 25kms from Mallorca, it is relatively untouched and un-spoilt by the worldly paraphernalia. The beauty of Menorca is haunting and has spread far, putting the place on the world map of premier real estate. Menorca boasts of being the biosphere reserve of UNESCO, making it unique and inviting. It has a beautiful coastline with an even more picturesque countryside populated by about 68,000 people. The climate is sunny most of the year, making it a holiday resort almost through the year. In addition to this, it enjoys good connectivity to all the major European countries which beckons Britishers, who long for this paradise on earth.

Menorca is for the tourist who is looking for quite and peace, as it does not have the night life as its other neighbors. People who value relaxation and enjoy nature in its splendor can make Menorca their permanent destination or a regular holiday spot. It is the southern part of the island that has the cream of real estate and is an attraction to real estate investors who wish to buy a property on this scenic little island and make it a part of their lives. It is much more reasonable than the more happening islands around, making it more affordable and convenient.

The monastery on top the Mount Toro is a popular tourist attraction and well worth the visit. All year around January to September there are fiestas, keeping the cafés and restaurants in action. The other place with a great demand is the location around the golf course, which is located in Son Parc, north of the island. Mahon comes alive with its natural harbor, which is one of the biggest natural harbors in the world. Mahon being the capital of Menorca showcases a fabulous mixture of colonial and local architecture. Some of its prehistoric monuments are nearly 4000 years old. The properties here are also ideal for investment and you can find plenty for sale in the real estate market if you wish to live a part of history.

Another attraction that Menorca has to offer is that it is also the home for some of the winged populations, which brings in many enthusiastic bird watchers from the world. If you wish to buy yourself a holiday home or even a permanent residence you could take the help of local real estate agents who will help you find the right place that suits your budget and requirements and are capable of getting you one on any corner of the island. There are plenty of beautiful apartments, villas by the sea, Casas and other real estate available for anyone looking to buy property in Menorca. The last few years has seen a boom in the property market of Menorca, so you can have your share and make it your home as well.
