What is Hair Analysis? Hair Analysis is a holistic diagnostic test used to determine specific chemicals in the body. Hair analysis may discover radiation levels, heavy metals like aspartame, pesticides and other toxic substances as well. Performing a hair analysis can also detect nutrient imbalances in an attempt to identify cause or causes of health symptoms.
Hair analysis is done via a small sample of human hair. Similar to rings of a tree, a hair analysis sample can present levels of elements such as cadmium, mercury, lead and even arsenic. Additionally, hair analysis can sometimes show evidence of pathological disorders as well.
Hair analysis is done via a 1/4 gram of uncolored or untreated body hair and sent to a lab for analysis. After the report is complete, a hair analysis specialist will examine it and give recommendations based on the findings. A
hair analysis specialist will then advise persons on detoxification and supplementation, nutritional changes, and other health recommendations.
Overall, by having a hair analysis performed, persons can identify underlying problems and resolve them. To learn more about hair analysis, or if you would like to have a hair analysis done, feel free to review our holistic practitioner directory at holisticjunction.com
