Even at the most difficult times of my life, I've always tried to find at least one thing to be thankful for. I've learned over several decades an important lesson about the spirit of this concept. It has always appeared to me that whatever you are thankful for you will get more of. The beauty of this concept is that if you start off being thankful for small things, you'll find your life getting ever better and your thanks will continue to grow for larger and larger blessings that miraculously seem to start showing up.

Who has touched your life in a positive way? Was it a stranger who offered a smile? Did someone let you move into a lane

in traffic? Are you healthy today? Are you healthier today than someone else in the world? Are you warm? Do you have clothes? Are you loved? No matter who you are or what you are going through, there is someone else out there who is going through something worse.

Take time today to reflect on the things that are little blessings in your life. Be sure to be thankful for them...and I'm sure you'll see more blessings following...
