Cure Anger Management - You might need to learn to breathe properly. By taking deep breaths of air one can calm your self down. It might be a good idea to take up some form of relaxing classes to help you de stress. Yoga is a good option or going to gym. There are also various sports that you could participate in that would help you to relax. You will probably find that by taking up some form of activity you will be more in control of your feelings and feel less like getting angry over trivial things.
What is the actual reason why most people get angry? In most cases it is because our expectations are not met adequately. It could be that the service in a certain store is not up to scratch or the waitress in a coffee shop is too slow. It could be a number of reasons. You might think any one of these reasons and many more are a legitimate cause for losing your temper in public. Before you get angry and abusive first ask questions. There might be a good explanation why the establishment is slower today or why something is out of stock.
By losing your temper you will not achieve anything except making a fool out of yourself. Do not let your expectations be too high when you are dealing with the public as this can lead to frustration and then anger.
If you do not bring these grievances out in the open how will the family know how they are affecting you negatively? You will have to discuss this with them and then all come to an agreement
of how things will be run in future. On the other hand it is not just what you want done but what makes the whole family happy otherwise your anger will still be controlling the family. They will not be doing something to please you but to prevent your wrath coming down on them. Learn to relax with your family and have good times together. This will build a bond between you and they will be more willing to meet your needs in the future.
We cannot manage something we do not understand. You are the only one that knows what is going on inside your head. You will have to ask yourself many difficult questions and be very honest with your self in order to get some answers otherwise you will never be able to realise why you get uncontrollably angry for the least thing. Your expectations from other people may be too high and when they disappoint you it angers you.
Remember that nothing is perfect in this world and people all think differently. Everything can not go your way all the time. Once you realise why you are getting so angry you can start reversing the process and be able to defuse situations instead of flying off in an unnecessary rage.
You can turn your anger in positive energy by taking part in sport. Competitive sport could be a wonderful way of harnessing this energy. You would have to practice not getting hostile if things were not going your way all the time. This will come with time and the same way your sport will benefit by practice so will your anger by practising to control it.
