When launching your Home Business, you may decide on a Network Marketing organization for one of several reasons. The start up cost is very low compared to a franchise or home business where you have to buy a lot of product. These days, most network marketing companies do not require that you purchase product up front as it is generally shipped directly to your customer within days of an order. Most Network Marketing companies are usually designed with the Home Business entrepreneur in mind. There for the starter materials, training, tools and support are geared toward the Home Business owner making success more probable.

Whatever the reason for wanting to make a Network marketing company the vehicle for your Home Business success, you will want to get focused right away on building an adequate downline of distributors of your own, also called your Organization. Although you can make sizeable commissions in network marketing companies by focusing entirely on product sales, you will nevertheless want to build an organization or downline if you really want to leverage your Home Business and eventually become a big, lucrative business. Generally in Network marketing companies you can build a sizeable income from a residual base of customers, meaning customers who go on autoship and have orders sent to them automatically every month, every 45 days, or a different time interval. You will want to teach the members of your organization how to do this so that they will have a similiar foundation with this "recurring database" of customers whose credit cards are charged automatically. Of course you will recieve a percentage of their sales, perhaps ten or fifteen percent depending on the

particular company and/or compensation plan.

There are different schools of thought about how may downline members constitutes an adequate "frontline" but perhaps a good number to shoot for is ten solid people in the first line of your organization. The key to building your downline is to essentially duplicate yourself and this requires training. You want to have a process that your downline member can copy to achieve the same results as you. While they probably recieved instructions in their starter kit explaining how to achieve this, it is in your own best interest to further train and help them with the proper mindset and knowledge required. In other words, you need to mentor and teach them untill they are self sufficient.

After you recruit a new distributor or downline member, the first ninety days are the most crucial. Therefore, you will want to give your new member as much attention as possible during this time frame. As their sponser, they will be looking to you for guidance and leadership, and the best way to guide him or her is by example. If you are percieved as highly motivated and enthusiastic this will rub off on the recruit and they will tend react in kind. One method that sponsers have used to aid their organization is to send out a newsletter that has tutorials or tools they can use to increase their chances for success. Make sure they read the necessary sales materials and listen in on pertinent conference calls. To find a home business right for you go to The Home Business Matchmaker and learn more.
