The enthusiasm of 18 year olds is quite amazing and their views in the main are not jaded by previous disappointments. We could all learn a lesson or two from the young voters of this country. All too soon, we close down our hopes and dreams in favour of being realistic and pragmatic. Each has its place of course but it is great to still feel the buzz of enthusiasm whether it is in yourself or someone else. It is contagious and generally everyone ends up feeling good.
