"In The Beginning God Created the Heavens and the Earth. And the Earth was without form and void." Genesis 1:1
OK, we know that God created it. Then he entrusted it to you and me to take care of it. Now that is what I feel like each spring when I have the opportunity to get out and work in my yard, garden, pond, pool, patio, or flower beds. From the colorful flowers to the evergreen bushes and shrubbery, to the statuary, fountains, fountain spitters, floaters, decoys, garden stakes, Birdfeeders/Birdbaths, wind chimes, and other garden decorations (check out all that are available at http://www.Watergardenpondsandfountains.com) that I add, I am taking care of what God has given to me. I am taking care of the home that God created for us all.
HE SPOKE this world into being. HE created Man and Woman for fellowship. HE had only one rule. Do not eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree in the middle of the Garden. And what did we do with all HE gave us? We allowed the devil to introduce sin into this world. And it got so bad that God destroyed it all with 40 days and 40 nights of rain and floods. But, HE found good in Noah and his wife and boys and their wives. HE had Noah build the very first BIG, BIG, BIG,……SHIP (boat). It was called an ARK. HE had worked hard in creating all the animals and none of this was their fault so HE had NOAH put two of each animal, one male and one female, on this BIG, BIG, BIG,……..ARK. Then HE caused it to rain. And it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. Floods covered the world. Every living thing not on this ARK was destroyed. Then HE basically started over again with NOAH when he found dry land and the waters resided……… God promised never again to destroy this world with water. What did man do with this gift from God? Man started
over again too……. God Destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gamorrah because of sin. Only Lot and his family survived by fleeing the city. God told them not to look back. Lot’s wife looked back and was turned to a pillar of salt. Punishment for not doing what he said.
Have you noticed, we’re still here. Is your curiosity peeking? This past paragraph Is excerpts of what I learned as a child from my Mom, Dad, and Sunday school teachers. And they got their information from the oldest history book that I know of. The BIBLE! I’ve had several since that time. It’s the same book, maybe a different cover. Somehow it keeps getting worn out. Not at first. But, as I get older it seems to wear out faster. I have a yearning to know more. And yes, I think I am approaching needing one in GIANT PRINT. It seems the eyes are getting dimmer. Satisfy and calm your curiosity. There is a BIBLE for everyone:
* Gift Bibles for newborns (their very first Bible),
* Story Bibles for pre-schooler’s, youth, pre-teens, and teens,
* Study Bibles for Teens, Young Adults, Women, Men, College Students,
* Devotional Bibles for all ages,
* Personal Bibles
* Compact Bibles
* Check Book (Size and looks) Bibles
* Pew Bibles (For use in church pews)
* GIANT PRINT BIBLES
* Much, much more........
And, they all say the same thing. Get one! (Check out the versions and styles available through http://www.HeavenlyTidbits.com) Then learn how to use it. And USE IT! It is one thing that has never changed over the years. People change. Times change. But God’s Word remains the same. It applies today just as much as it did in the "Good Ole Days".
