When 60 Minutes is talking about how effective hoodia is as an appetite suppressant, you know it is time for you to join a quality hoodia affiliate program...

If you don’t know already, hoodia is a natural substance that literally takes your appetite away. Hoodia cacti are native to the semi-deserts of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Angola. There are about 20 species in this family but the gordonii is the one that contains a natural appetite suppressant.

Lets think about it – each year people spend billions of dollars on diet products designed to help them lose weight.

My thinking is, why not sell a natural product to an ever growing marketplace (no pun intended) instead of a lot of the synthetically produced pharmaceutical products out there.

Now, when looking at hoodia affiliate programs, there are a few things to consider:

a. Organization's Track Record : It is not difficult to find out about the organization before joining its affiliate program. Search engines are one of the sources which can be used for this purpose. The organization should have proven track record of operating their programs for several years successfully.

b. Support available to affiliates : Most of the new affiliates joining any affiliate program are new to the field of marketing on the internet. They need guidance and support for promoting their business and earning money for themselves

c. Payment : Another factor to consider is the mode and frequency of payment to the affiliates. The affiliate should make sure that this suits her. Just to give an example - many organizations make payments thru PayPal, but PayPal does not transmit money to all the countries.

Don’t forget to be patient and remember that the best way is to test your market. You are then in the best position to at least choose some basic products you feel have credibility. You can then provide an affiliate link on your site and with a bit of luck watch the sales roll in. Good luck!
