We are seeing many legal changes, which are shaping our civilization. We are more and more becoming a nation of laws and lawyers than person freedoms and free enterprise. Whereas many people assume this is a good thing and creates a safe crime free society, there are intrinsic problems with this trend. One is that we are forcing many of the innate characteristics of the species to be swept under the carpet in such a way, which is so highly unnatural that it setting a time bomb for these innate and normal human behaviors to re-emerge like a time bomb. In fact some of the outburst and crimes of rage are being caused by normal humans who have been forced down and this pent up rage builds and builds until one day it explodes.
We see this happen all the time when the Television News interviews the neighbors and the neighbors say, well he was a nice man, pleasant and “I still can’t believe it!” Indeed the friendly neighbor next day an axe murderer, but why? All this time Bob was a friendly chap, you trusted even with your house key when you were away. One legal trend we will be seeing in 2006 is the convenient making of criminals of those people who are slightly out of the norm of society. Unfortunately we need these different kinds of people as much as they seem to need us. Civilizations move forward due to such individuals and they stagnate without them. So, perhaps we should look at this as a negative trend not a positive one. Think on this in 2006.
