Have you heard of the Climate Cliff as part of the Global Warming scenario? It goes like this; once the ice melts off the land at the poles, it will uncover the permafrost with methane trapped. The release of this massive amount of methane will increase the greenhouse affect ten-fold and prevent the sun from getting in. Thus Global Warming would cause Global Cooling and Dimming of our Sun as we see it on Earth. The deep freeze indeed.

Regarding these environmental premises and the time before climate cliff. Man is not going to change until crisis erupts, that is if it actually does erupt. Climate Cliffs and Climate Cycles are generally beyond man's sole doing and the little amount of changes man can do, he appears to be not willing to sacrifice in his ultimate fear of change, thus, it seems irrelevant to discuss, as no real decisive action is likely at this time and maybe that is the way it is suppose to be. I have attempted myself to help where I could, but really

Mankind will change if and when he is forced by mother nature, other than that if the cycles fluctuations become too great he will attempt to adapt then. This is how I have observed the species operate, you see? I personally have done things to help the situation, but mankind is relatively uninterested, I say fine, call me if you change your mind as I have more important things to fix. How about; "You can lead a horse to water....?" Perhaps we should understand why the policies of our environment are the way they are.

Case in point, now that we have had this record breaking 2005 Hurricane Season, we will be funding more Tropical Storm research and trying to figure out a better way to track, predict and steer Hurricanes. Think on this.
