YOUR DAILY NEWSPAPER AND BEING AN INTERESTING CONVERSATIONALIST - In addition to being a good listener, a wide-range of interesting topics, comments and humor are helpful in making yourself an attractive, fluent conversationalist with single women.
Your daily newspaper can help in this task. Instead of just browsing through it in ten or fifteen minutes each day, read your favorite newspaper from page to page, thoroughly. Read, think about what you are reading, and remember everything of interest and personal importance as you go through each section of the paper.
As you read, rehearse in your own mind which items will make an interesting story, an amusing anecdote, a situation which relates to your own and his previous experiences, an item you can modify and include in your repertoire of jokes, witticisms, wisecracks, etc. The human interest stories, even the gossip columns, can often be fruitful sources for vivid, amusing conversation with the appropriate woman.

Put some energy, imagination and hard work into the task. Some of the techniques which follow and some of the suggested sources may seem obvious and prosaic when stated in simple, brief form. For example, you can go to a dance almost every day and never dance, yet still meet dozens of attractive women! Try this: Go up to any woman at the dance or nightclub, who is alone and available, as if you were going to ask her for a dance, but instead, in your own words, sincerely, say something like this: "I would love to ask you to dance with me, but I'm not going to because I can't dance! I just had to meet you. Would you mind sitting this one out and just talk and get acquainted?" You will be amazed at how often this works with the most desirable single women.
