This is Terrie, I’m a 23-year single woman and also a registered member of a few free online dating site. I was quite curious about this online dating thingy right from my college days, but I never really took fancy in it as I was not looking for a serious relationship. Being in the college, and considered one of the beautiful girls (I have been the runners-up in the college beauty queen contest), I never really had a problem finding a casual partner. I have been through many casual relationships, and I consider myself lucky to have learnt a lot from these relationships.
It might sound a bit funny but I would be approached by many of my college mates and, at the beginning of every semester, I would end up an affair to enter to into another with a new guy. In a way, I can say that my college days taught me how to choose a guy and what to look for in them.
There were many of my classmates who would search for fun outside the college campus, i.e, at free online dating sites. They would talk about the funny incidents they’d faced at those online dating sites, and I’d wonder why they would try online dating when the real fun was very much available at the college campus. ‘Isn’t online dating a lot of work?’, I would often ask myself.
Now, that I am a professional and want a steady relationship outside the work, I have turned to many free online dating sites to escape from singleton status. The reason why I’m looking for a relationship outside the work is that I have a strong notion that my work and personal life should be separate. Meeting a guy at work every day could not only be boring, but also it could seriously hamper your professional growth as well. That’s the reason I have chosen the free online dating sites to meet new guys and find a steady relationship.
