1) You're a lousy writer

What's worse than getting rejected via an online dating adult website? Not getting replies at all, and it's usually because your profile just doesn't cut it. You may be a great person, entertaining, strong, funny, and athletic, but who's going to know if you've submitted a profile that is long and boring, poorly written with spelling errors.

Hey, writing is hard work, and writing personal stuff about yourself can be intimidating, so give yourself the leg up of hiring someone to write a professional profile for you. They don't cost that much, and can make all the difference.

2) You have a stupid screen name

This is more important than it may seem at first, but think about it. Would you take someone seriously if their screen name was "4agoodtime" or "shotglass?" Yeah, I really want to date a slut or an alcoholic. Here's an idea, why don't you be clever in your long boring profile instead and stick to your name with a few numbers behind it? Seriously, you may not be getting a response because your choice of screen name has put people off. Some online dating service hosts will censure you or remove you if you don't seem to fit in with the crowd. (i.e., you are perceived as potentially dangerous)

3) You're vague

When writing up a profile or chatting, you must play the online dating game. That is, ask questions! You're in cyber space, not a wall flower in a crowded party waiting for that special someone to see you across the room. Virtually all successful online dating businesses provide a section just for newcomers, so that they can learn what to say in a chat room and how to say it. Learn the lingo; there are online dating books available to help you learn some short cuts to talking in chat rooms.
