The Federal Aviation Administration has destroyed General Aviation after 9-11, they have destroyed the trust in air travel and they have made mistake after mistake in the aviation sector. Now they want to regulation Space Flight too? That’s right but this is just a start, they want to regulate the entire Galaxy and Universe and probably all thirteen possible dimension of the Space Time Continuum.
Can you see it now; “The United States Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration and Intergalactic Space Flight Regulator Commission” Indeed but it would be abbreviated as “The USDTFAAISFRC” and don’t laugh either because their proposed rules to regulate Space Flight get far more bizarre. But one thing is for sure that once they make even one or two paragraphs of rules, you know what that means? More coffee pot idiotic fill in text of more rules and regulations, stipulations, abbreviations, exemptions and proclamations.
It is absurd to believe that the FAA is going to attack an industry just getting off the ground with regulations, before it is known what exactly is going to happen or how the commercialization of space will progress. Yet, we all know the answer now. It will “progress” slowly because the government is now involved and they cannot do anything right. Think on this in 2006.
