Hey this Hurricane Season has been really scary hasn’t it. Broken all the records; Most named storms, most actual Hurricanes, most Category Five Hurricanes and it is still going and going, like that damn Energizer Bunny. Don’t you just want to shoot that thing or blow over that beautiful bunny in a Hurricane. Elmer Fudd would have and so would the US Military, besides needing better batteries in the battlespace, how about a little wind and torrential rain as well? Sure save using bombs and planes, which cost a bundle.

God is always on “Our Side” so why not use some of Mother Natures Power, says military officials? Indeed, it makes a whole lot of sense. The United States Military wants to own the weather by 2025 and we may well be on our way to getting it done sooner, as researchers and scientists consider how to modify the weather to save lives and control the weather to alleviate droughts. Is the technology getting closer? Well, some say we have all the technology, but must be careful that we use it correctly or we could worsen a storm or cause unintended consequences.

There have been times when we have seeded rain clouds and then couldn’t turn them off and flooded out whole regions, over flowed rivers and ended up with torrential rains, mudslides and life-threatening flash floods. Of course this is exactly the potential that the US Military is looking at to serve our will against an enemy. In fact with the new super computers and technology advances in weather prediction at the NOAA we seem to know enough to try and stop the big one and make a monster of a storm if our enemy attempts to declare war on our Nation. Think on this.
