It appears that President Fox is upset that the United States is working to keep invaders out of our country. I guess maybe he'll have to actually work on making his country better and stop exporting poverty, sickness, and criminals north.

President Vicente Fox on Wednesday criticized the United States' decision to strengthen its border security and complete a wall along the two countries common border calling it "disgraceful and shameful." - Union TribuneDecember 14, 2005

Well, President Fox, there would be no need for the United States to build a wall if we could trust your countrymen from coming over illegally! Your so-called country expects us to keep our backyard wide open for you? Does your country do the same for Guatemalans?

Allan Wall, from V-Dare states otherwise:

Check this out: on January 4th, in Sonora, Mexico, seven Mexican Indians—Mexican citizens of non-European, indigenous origin—were mistaken for Guatemalans, detained by the INM (Mexican INS), then imprisoned for ten days and almost deported to Guatemala!

The detainees were from the state of Chiapas (which borders Guatemala). They had traveled by plane to Sonora (which borders Arizona) in order to work at a job they had already been contracted for. They were mistaken for Guatemalans by INM officials in the Hermosillo, Sonora airport. - January 28, 2002.

Well, if you want the United States to have its borders open, why can't Mexico do the same? Were you afraid that Guatemalans were taking away from your sustinence?

Back to the Union Tribune piece:

"It would be hard to know what would happen to the economy of the United States if it wasn't for the enormous contribution, the productivity, the quality of work of our countrymen in that country," Fox said.

That's right, President Fox, your countrymen do jobs that, "not even blacks will do." [CBS May 17, 2005]

Speaking in the border city of Reynosa, across from Hidalgo, Texas, Fox said he remained hopeful the United States will approve a temporary guest worker program next year.

Or, perhaps you can - I don't know - actually lead your nation to prosperity! The United States didn't just happen and it sure isn't the wealthy nation it is solely because of your precious Mexicans doing jobs you say our Americans black won't do!

Look, you don't see President Bush telling you how to run a corrupt, third-world nation. You seem to doing a fine job all your own.
