It is truly amazing the constant thunder of sound and fury generated by the war in Iraq which we won after toppling Saddam and the current battle against Al Queda and other insurgents there as we cull a civil war from occurring. Many are critical in the media of the President’s Administration and the US involvement in Iraq. But the more we look into the situation the more it is quite evident that; we will win in Iraq and that it will become a Democracy. We can thank our troops for getting it done and the Iraqi people for their desire and stead-fastness to self governance. This will happen.
However there are bigger issues brewing in the World, so we should not take our eye off the ball elsewhere such as; a Nuclear Power in an unstable Iran and their vision for a mushroom cloud over Israel; issues in Syria; out of control high-tech weapons sales from Russia and China to Iran; and our own homeland security, which includes the border issues.
There is a heck of a lot more going on in the world than the skirmishes in Iraq as we keep peace and quell a small civil war being egged on by other nation states and fundamental religious radicalism. We should not be so critical of the Bush Administration, as we are only discussing one chess piece move on a 3D Chess Board. And the problems in Iraq and in the Middle East are not going away, even if we do. It is imperative that we complete the Democratizing of Iraq as another step toward peace in the Middle East and preventing the doomsday WWIII scenario from taking place there. Think on this.
