We have all know people in our lives who have been over come from cancer. Cancer is a huge issue in our country and in the world and it will only get worse in the future due to pollution and environmental type cancers. Although we have made huge strides forward in the fight against cancer and many cancers no longer kill people and can be set into remission or completely stopped. Now is a great time to fund more monies in research to find a cure to cancer, as we are making headway.

We need to fund 50 Billion a year in cancer research for the next 5 to 10 years and build upon every new break through and discovery. By close collaboration in fight for cancer we can solve the problem once and for all. We will make our money back in the future through more

productivity of our workforce, less health care costs and allowing the discoveries in medicine made to help us get to the next step in fighting other diseases. We must declare war on Cancer. We must defeat this problematic potential eventuality, which affects us all.

We have the ability, we have the technology and we must commit the resources to getting it done. If we can spend 200 Billion on a war or 200 Billion to rebuild after a Hurricane, well then we sure as hell can spend 50 Billion a year to get rid of Cancer. And with that kind of money, most researchers are quite certain it would get done. We can do this, so let’s do it. Think on it.
