Can we find the clue to predict Earthquakes by listening to the Earth? Some believe we can and many Earthquake Researchers and Seismologists believe it may soon be possible. Even the SETI Institute believes it should be possible as they listen for signals in space, they have indicated why not listen to Earth too? Earthquakes are one of the most-wicked of all Natural Disasters as we are being reminded of each year. This year a massive Earthquake has killed 78,000 people in Pakistan and more will die as winter sets in and all the buildings have been leveled.

The Earth gives off some early warnings and vibrational changes in the ultra-low frequency range and by using state of the art equipment and listening this may hold the key to figuring out when and where the next Earthquake might be. Some ancient cultures talk of low fog, Earthquake plume clouds and we have all heard of animals getting spooked sometimes 1-2 days prior to the big quakes. Using SETI Institute bleeding edge listening equipment, infrared satellite images and precipitation anomalies, we may just be able to figure it out. Learn more:

A one-two day warning would save thousands of lives each year. These ultra low frequency changes may help us discover the all-important data we need to warn our citizens and protect our infrastructures and civilizations. Shutting off water mains, turning off power and keeping people out of old buildings, which are not up to Earthquake Codes.
