I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. The beginning of a new year for many marks a time of change. It can be a, wipe the slate clean and begin fresh, experience. Do you want to know the best way to wipe your slate clean? The Bible states:

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

and

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood” (Revelation 1:5).

Do you know of the cleansing power of Jesus?

For the wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

My wish is that everyone will make this the year of their salvation. Jesus died for all of us. To accept this gift you only have to do two things. The first and most important is have faith in the saving power of Jesus. The second is to ask for forgiveness. While there are no magical words for forgiveness most people are saved by repeating this prayer.

(The sinners prayer) "God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"

If you did these two things you are now a child of God. Your slate has been truely cleared. No one (not one person) can go to Heaven by doing good deeds. We are all guilty of sin and cannot repent of it by ourselves. The good deeds of Christ's come only from the faith of a believer. I look forward to Heaven and hope to see all of you there.

Heavenly Father I wish that you would bless us so that we may lead more people to your saving Grace and Love. Please put it upon their hearts to accept your son Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I love you Heavenly Father and thank you for everything. For I ask it in Jesus name. Amen.
