When having an elementary school fundraiser, make sure you are picking a fundraiser that is easy for the children to manage. The children participating in an elementary school fundraiser are usually very young.
Remember the kids' safety is priority #1! If you feel that you can absolutely count on the parents of your students, then you don't have to worry so much about what you will be doing, BUT, if you feel that some children will be going out on their own trying to make sales, you might want to think of another way to raise funds.
In any case, for elementary school fund raiser ideas, try to stick with things that you can do onsite, for example at school, and things that you can have a lot of parent participation on.
If you feel that you won’t have a lot of parent participation, then go with an event that you can host at your school. An example would be having a huge bake sale at parent-teacher night, or bringing in a local jewelry artist to display their work at your school, and send flyers out to the parents instructing them to spread the word of the event! If you really wanted to sell from a catalog, then follow the onsite event guidelines, and simply have people come to the school on that certain day to make the orders from you and the fellow teachers participating!
