Without the flow of thought, we as a species would not need to study anything, but rather be reduced to simply react with the stimuli around us. With out the Flow of Thought a Think Tank is completely out of the question, whether a virtual online think tank or a group of intellectuals sitting around a table. Luckily the human race and the human brain has the ability to think and reason. Without debating the cognitive ability as compared with other species of the planet, we can definitely say we are amongst the top tier of intelligence of all species here on our Earth. Scientists have studied the brain, but still have many questions yet to be answered. This Gray and white spongy thing seems to be able to do quite a bit more than we ever realized. Most of the current studies have to do with brain disorders. Using these disorders scientists have hypothesized how the brain works. Unfortunately most of the studies that are funded are for brain disorders instead of healthy brains. Which is interesting in that where does a healthy brain start and an unhealthy brain begin? And what is exactly is the definition of a healthy brain?

We study things such as ADHD and we say these are disorders. Are they? If so many people have this so called issue then in fact is it a disorder or is it the way many human brains work? Studying the characteristics of ADHD, some would say that it may not be a negative trait at all. As a matter of fact squirrels and other fidgety creatures are able to stay more alert and not get

eaten by predators as often as other critters. One thing is for certain, as we humans attempt to categorize everything to make ourselves feel good, we are finding more definitions and labels to thrust upon our observational data. How one thinks is a good portion of who they are. If everyone thought normally, chances are we would all have similar thoughts and we would all be the same, like the Borg?

The flow of thought and stream of consciousness wherever it takes you or where ever you want to go today, is ‘who you are’ and that is a good thing. Most would agree that there is nothing the mind cannot achieve and the flow of thought is available to those who believe. The human spirit with all it’s intent and will seems to be what makes this species great, it is the human factor in the flow of thought that makes each of us unique. It is this stream or flow combined with the individual experiences that we all have in our quest to fulfill a sense of purpose that unites the whole. Those who play on sports teams, families who go through crisis together or soldiers who endure the heat of battle often draw close bonds with one another. All human beings are fortunate to have the powers of cognition and the flow of thought in their life experience and we must make that ability a strong adhesive to keep us together as one. The flow of thought; Think about it.
