So you have decided to get a Bachelors or a Masters degree, are you going for the cheaper one which you can get within 7 seven days. Yes within 7 days by courier or are you going for the expensive one? For which you will have to work hard. Also don’t forget, which will take you at least couple of years of your life. Of course, both accredited by regional authorities, no doubt about it whatsoever. The only question then comes into mind is why choose an expensive route when you have cheaper degrees available?

The decision is a crucial one, because it can change your future prospects. Doesn’t matter which ever route you take, you will be awarded a degree anyway, something for you to boost about in your CV. But would this really change your future prospects?

Most employers are still skeptical about an online degree. They don’t consider this to be equal to or even similar in any way to a traditionally earned degree. They have valid reasons for it. For example someone works hard for two years and get his online degree while another one just fills out an application form and degree is delivered to him within 7 days by courier. They both have similar degree but from the different institutions, accredited by different regional authorities. I know the question you

might be asking is how could they both be in any way similar or equal? Are they?

The difference is simple. One is awarded when someone has acquired the necessary knowledge by working hard for two years and passed his/her exams. While the other one is awarded based upon the past experience, with the assumption that the person already has all the knowledge about the subject and the course material. So there is no need for exams.

Is that a good news for you or not? of course it is, it all depends upon which route is actually available for you, the expensive one or the cheaper one, and what experience you already have?

As for the employers, they are changing their tone anyway and they have to. Don’t they? Since more and more students are going for online degrees they are forced to consider these degrees equal to the traditional ones. Even the best institutes in the world have started online degrees in the last few years. They know that the online degrees are the future and are here to stay.
