You need to realize that your fear is mostly in your mind. Dogs rarely attack unprovoked but this extreme fear usually begins in childhood from a small snap or being chased by what is often a small dog. Now that you are grown up this fear can be quite troublesome. As an adult the fear is caused by our perceptions which are filtered through our past experiences and the subconscious mind

Ever wonder why some people get rid of there phobias in a few hours or weeks and some face the problem for years without a resolution. The stress and anxiety caused by these fears are a recipe for disaster in adult life. Some try to overcome these fears with little success; this is due to the fear coming from the subconscious mind.

Think of it this way, could that little tiny poodle really inflict much harm? The answer is no, it is your irrational fear that is causing all this stress which builds up much like spam builds up in your mailbox. Your mind wants to protect you from pain, such as a bite from a large dog, but is not able to sort out the size of dog, or the circumstances that are troubling you.

So what is the solution? The solution to overcoming a fear of canines is to let go of the fear. Easy to do? Yes, with the power of self hypnosis! By removing your rational mind from the picture you will be able to program it to behave as you want it to.

Since your fear is a deep fear, simply trying to overcome it on a conscious level can be very difficult and time consuming. This is the reason to choose self hypnosis. Simply listen to a recording and let your mind relax and let go, similar to taking a holiday or vacation by plane and letting your self completely relax. Forget about your credit cards, car loan, and mortgage, as well as any responsibilities you have for a while, and simply relax. The self hypnotic recordings will help you to override these fears and instruct your mind to begin to think correctly about any situations you encounter where you must confront such an animal

I know you can feel your emotions change in response to simply thinking about a dog, your heart is beating faster, you are sweating, you stomach is spinning, and it is hard to relax and realize that you are not in harms way. That is why hypnosis is so powerful; it eliminates not only the physical effects, but also the emotional baggage that you are carrying.

Have faith that you can beat this phobia, and you will, but if you really want to overcome it quickly and easily then there is no better way than though the power of self hypnosis.
