Once becoming famous, one will be bound by a NAME. For this name, one must walk in restraint, fearing that the personal image may be destroyed. Hence people are often stranded by fame and harmed by fame.

Heaven says, "People often pray for health, peace for themselves and some for fortune, but all are selfish deeds. If fortune is granted, they will praise the Above, but if fortune is not granted or gone instead, they will curse the Above. If one is destined to get, he will get it. If fate is against him, no matter how much he prays, he will not get it. If things are not his, even if they enter the pocket, he will still find a hole in it and lose it. Man, oh man! Why die for fortune? Seek it with a righteous heart and work hard for its return. Fortune that you get from no work, it will not stay long. Ask not the unnecessary, but work only for what may be yours.

Man on this plane will die for three things: fame, wealth and lust. He will fight all his life and for it, he will die. For fame and wealth, brotherhood is lost. They fight for fortune and they fight for fame. Doesn't the young know that there is nothing thicker than blood? From the same genes and blood one is produced, yet with the same blood one fights for gains.

Being in poverty, the only thing man thinks about is how to achieve wealth. For men who already have fame and wealth, their burden is much heavier. Way up high in the ladder, the pride of achievement is equally high. Thus, to protect from falling, they will not only have to work hard but must know when to move forward and when to remain. Being high up above all in achievement, they have posted themselves to unseen danger.

With fame and wealth, lust is the next evil that may begin its action to tempt and emotion will step in. For human, being a man of emotion; emotion will be his downfall if not controlled in time. Only by controlling one's emotion, things maybe clear, but if blinded with emotions, lower and lower one would descend."

A poem by my Master JiGong,

"This energetic seven-feet-trunk (human body), it takes three meals a day and occupies eight-feet at night. Has it ever stayed long in grand houses and limousines? Has it ever stayed long with the comely concubines or lovers? Who knows that in the end what is left behind are only, a few pieces of hard and slender bones, and a piece of shrunken seminal skin!"
