Specific colors have long been associated with the power to stimulate intellectual, emotional or physical needs. Energy, fear, stress, love, communication, intuition, self-healing, love, self-control, confidence, creativity, intuition and many specific physical conditions can be affected.

In the summertime, we receive color energy from the sun. This time of year, however, we receive less and less sunshine because of the shorter days and colder weather. Soon, articles about light therapy for seasonal affective disorder (SAD) will start to appear in the news.

This is a great time to try looking into color therapy kaleidoscopes. Color, you know, is the visible part of the sun's energy. To benefit from a color therapy kaleidoscope is almost "child's play." Select a color you are attracted to or pick from the list below.

  • Yellow: Improves memory and increases happiness
  • Red: Increases competitiveness and sharpens decision making,
  • Blue: Helps make sober business decisions, It is a calming color and puts you in touch with the real
    world.
  • Green: Soothes stress, helps with sleeplessness ,
  • Purple: Deepens intuition and connects you with universal values. Promotes the inner strength which overcomes fears.
  • Orange: The social energy. Resourceful confident orange stimulates all your appetites.
  • Using a kaleidoscope for color therapy is a combination of play and meditation. Pick up a kaleidoscope, let you mind follow the pattern of color you like most. There is no need to think about it, just breathe and allow your inner-self to follow the color: My personal experience is that five minutes looking into a golden yellow kaleidoscope makes a grey day much more bearable. Try it this winter and get the color energy you need.
