I have been hearing a lot about the “Law of Attraction” the last few years and I have found this model to be quite attractive... gosh, I guess it’s working. Anyways, when it is narrowed down to it’s basics it seems to mean that you will reap whatever type of energy you sow.

If you put out negative energy, then you will get back negative energy. Likewise, if you put out hope and optimism, then that too will be returned to you. If you want to truly create and live the life of power, passion and purpose, then it is of the utmost importance that you sow your seeds accordingly.

One very powerful action and attitude you can take is to practice “acts of random kindness”, while also creating “play it forward” systems of living. Let me explain.

Random acts of kindness are just that: They are random and they are kind. When you give just out of your desire to give and expect nothing in return, and you do it only to benefit others, then you are practicing random acts of kindness. Think about the energy you are sowing: Love, acceptance, care, support, and generosity.

These are all very powerful seeds to be planting in the garden of your life. This does not mean that you do this with any expectation of return, but rather, you do just for the sake of doing it. I have never met anyone that, given their choice to do anything that they wanted to do, would not want to give for the purpose of helping humankind in some way.

Play it forward, on the other hand, comes from the movie of the same title. It was a system created by a very wise young man in which he proposed as part of a homework assignment that if we all did something positive for three other people and asked them to do the same for three other people, it would take very little time before everyone will have been positively affected.

It is easy to “pay back” someone when they have done you a favor, but with this system it is about doing them a favor and then asking them to do the same. Again, you will be planting the seeds of much abundance and prosperity by practicing these attitudes.

You reap what you sow...by the way, what's in your garden??
