There’s a new language being spoken around town.. Have you heard it? Have you felt it? Have you seen it?
Modesty and fashion have been redefined. Plunging necklines and bare midriffs sing a careless tune. Gone are the days when there was only the suggestion of a navel from behind a transparent bit of clothing. In fact they now go one step ahead and highlight the navel with gold or silver glitter and if you still fail to notice then there is a small ring piercing the side of the navel just to make sure that it grabs the attention it deserves
No one goes ‘ tut tut’ over the word ‘sex appeal’. The new mantra says…If you have it, then flaunt it! If you dare ,then bare!
To be glamorous n glitzy is to be avant garde and trendy. The onus of personifying allure and appeal rests no more with the likes of the Helens and Bindus of the celluloid world either. In fact you don’t have to turn the pages of a fashion magazine or sit through a film for a brush with glamour. Glamour today, is a way of life. A statement. An expression. Talking about expression , one’s eyes are supposed to be the most expressive feature of ones face, and kohl lined eyes, shadowed eyelids and mascaraed eyelashes lend glamour
and character to this prominent feature as nothing else does. And one would go a step further and wear coloured lenses to match the outfit and the mood.
By the way, has one given the impression that it is only the female species which has a right to project glamour and appeal ? A million apologies. For , it is not so at all. The male exudes his own brand of appeal with the way he dresses,with the way he talks and with the way he walks. Not to forget the deluge of macho based advertisements which storm the media and promise to sell male sex appeal out of after shave lotions and deodorants.
Who said tattoing is a painful procedure ?
And so what if it is? What is a little pain when faced with the pleasure of showing off well formed biceps and broad backs?
So watch out for the glamourously brave and whenever you find yourself in their company you will know that you are in a happening part of the world.
Of course , one is not to forget the red heads and the blonds and the brunettes that have taken the scene by storm .
