If you have your own tanning bed, you know how hard it can be to find tanning bed lamps at all, much less to find them on sale. But once you know where to look, it won’t take long for you to find the right lamp for your tanning bed.
Tanning bed lamp manufactures change their packaging as often as any other product does – a lot! Often, when there is a change in the look of the package, the manufacturer or the stores will discount the remaining unsold products in the old-style package.
Another way to find good prices on tanning bed lamps is to talk to the folks at your local salon. Sure, you might not tan there anymore if you have your own bed now, but chances are they still provide you other services, like hair styling and manicures. Ask the manager where they order their lamps from, and perhaps she will let you tack your
order onto hers. Since they buy lamps a lot, they probably get the best deals available.
One more option is to watch for salons going out of business. Often salons will stock up on lamps, but if they go under they are not going to need them anymore. Perhaps you can buy them at a discount.
One tip – always make sure you are buying the right lamp for your bed. Check the manual for compatibility and only buy the appropriate product. It doesn’t matter if a lamp is cheap if it is not designed to fit in your tanning bed.
