Brandee Danielle, one of the most innovative crib bedding manufacturers, is available through national chains, including JC Penny and Baby Depot, baby specialty stores, and online retailers. The On the Farm bedding collection, released in late 2005, is a great choice for those interested in high quality, reasonably priced, gender-neutral bedding in a Farm theme. On the Farm is an excellent value at $200 to $240 for a four-piece crib set, using exclusively premium grade fabric that are rarely found in a crib bedding collection at this price point.

On the Farm is packaged as a four-piece crib set, which includes a quilt, bumper, crib skirt, and fitted sheet. As with most crib bedding collections, coordinating accessories are available to decorate the nursery. One drawback to On the Farm is the lack of wall border, a common accessory available with most crib bedding collections.

As with most crib bedding manufacturers, the quilt is the highlight of the collection. The On the Farm quilt is made using brushed cotton in yellow and green stripes as a trim. The main section of the quilt’s focal point is the detailed embroidery used to create scenes with farm animals, corn, flowers, and fences.

One of the best features of the

crib set is the bumper comes in four separate pieces, each with a zippered cover to make washing easy. The bumper stands 9” tall and has ties on the top and bottom. The inside of the bumper features the green and yellow stripes along the bottom along with more embroidered scenes like the quilt. The outward facing bumper is green stripe with no decorative features. The crib skirt features a 13” drop to complete the look of the crib. The fitted sheet is made from woven yellow gingham, in keeping with the use of only premium fabrics in this collection.

Unfortunately, for Canadian consumers purchasing from a United States online retailer, the On the Farm bedding collection is manufactured in China. Customers in Canada would be required to pay import duties of as much as 18% of the stated prices.

If you like the farm theme in On the Farm, you might also want to look at Farmyard by Freckles or A Day on the Farm by OshKosh Baby.
