If you are a regular vacation taker, you might have that place that you would really like to live. Some location you keep going to year after year. If you’ve got that special place, you need to take a look at buying a timeshare.
A timeshare is essentially the right to use a vacation home for a period of time every year. You’ll get a couple of weeks every year where you can live in that dream spot you’ve always wanted to live. Often, it’s out of your price range – the best spots to live usually are also the most expensive. But if you buy the rights to live there for a couple of weeks only, it will usually be within your ability to afford it. The best part is that you don’t have to go every year if something comes up. can easily rent out your week to someone else. Ebay is a great source for this, or you can go through a travel agent. This makes timeshares a good potential investment as well – buy a couple of timeshares in different places that you like, and you can rotate your annual vacation to a couple of cool places that you’ll want to be at. You need to look at the amenities and the services available in the area – who is running the house or condo is very important, and you have to make sure it’s a reputable company. You don’t want to end up with a lemon, so buy through a respected real estate or travel agent.
