I finally found the love of my life. He has a teenage daughter and I have two kids under 11. We are currently cramped in a 2 bedroom trailer with a rambuncteous puppy that eats everything, an adult cat and a new kitten.
We are trying to buy a four bedroom house where everyone can have their space, and facing challenges with credit and down payments. The American Dream for every family to own their own house is definitely not as easy as I imagined. Life is rearing it's ugly head and spitting reality at us and threatening our beautiful, fairy tale love.
I will not let anything get me down, no matter what it is. I know deep in my heart I love this man and his daughter with all my heart and will somehow make this new life work. After we conquer this home hurdle, then we will move forward to our wedding plans.
Weddings can be very expensive if you let
them. It is only one day in your life and you only have one chance to make it perfect. Yet, perfect, in the marketing point of view is a wedding and reception starting at $1500. So, we settle for a small chapel wedding at a local church with a boring reception/luncheon with no champayne or merriment. The wedding only costs $300 then, and we can enjoy our $500 honeymoon in a nice hotel and a nice restaurant.
What price is love? Finding the right man for you, the right family life at any cost... priceless.
