Are you a book lover and find yourself getting lost in a bookstore and literally losing track of time and closing the place down as if you were out for a night on the town? Some people love to go to bars and get drunk and carry on; I like books. Books are cool because when you are reading you are enhancing your neuron connections not killing brain cells. Of course to each his own and if getting drunk and wasting time over idle and wasteful, incomprehensible chit chat is your thing, go for it. You will find me reading a book. And in the morning when you wake up in a place you do not recognize and cannot find your underwear with a massive headache, I will have read another book.

Kind of funny, yes! Well I am glad to see you are a book lover too and there is nothing wrong with a glass of wine while reading your book either, I was simply making fun of how the other half lives, as I have enough friends on the other path to know the grass is always greener when you have a good book and indeed it stays green as no one is puking on it.

Now then for the past six years I have been traveling the United States and Canada by motor home, yes an “RV’er” as they say and one of my favorite things to do is to go into a town or city and find a really killer used bookstore. And yes like you, I too go to the big new book stores with the coffee shops often enough, but there nothing more rewarding than finding just the book you are looking for somewhere on a shelf way in the back, just waiting for you, you know what I mean? Well now that I have been all over the country, I am very happy to report that there are great used bookstores all over America and reading is not going out of style no matter what anyone says. Think on that.
