Are you a writer who often gets writer’s block and you just cannot go on? Cannot write a thing and feel absolutely worthless? How does that make you feel? Do you feel weak, incompetent; do you feel like throwing in the towel and giving up? I am sorry to hear that, because personally I think it is all in your mind. Having hung around some writers in my day and discussed this issue with them, it always seemed like kind of a cop out. I suppose writers are that way and it is the brilliance, which often comes with baggage in the creative side of humans. But it is irregardless of the reasoning any good writer worth their salt will have to deal with and get over the Writer’s Block thing, as it is all in your mind.

If you are going to be a writer a real writer then you are going

to have to rule over your own mind and produce greater volumes of work at a higher level of quality, whether you are tired, hung over or just feel un-motivated. To beat Writer’s Block you will have to deny its existence and become master of your own mind while refusing to let the concept of some sort of work stoppage to enter your realm. Tell yourself that Writer’s Block does not exist. It cannot beat me; I can defeat any demon, enemy or scale any obstacle. Once you believe you can do anything, you have won and once deny the existence of any real or imaginary writer’s block you have defeated that excuse and you can remain productive anywhere and at any time. Please think on this.
