When is a spirit not a Spirit? Best to begin at the beginning.
In the last century there was a famous man who many said was going to lead his country to a new level. All his admirers believed the advertisements that claimed he was destined for greatness and would bring a new era of prosperity to ‘This Great Country’ that would not be forgotten. It was 'half true' the new era will not be forgotten, the copywriters had that right!
This ‘beginning of a new era’ seems to happen every 33.4 years. In the present century the Spirit is with us now. He has taken over the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth and is doing what he does best. The nation is being bankrupt and stripped of its dignity. Its leader is spending most of his time covering his ass, and his efforts are failing. His Ministers are traveling the world denying any wrong doing. As soon as they put out one political fire another one springs up to take its place.
The leader is finished and knows it. He can only hope that his term runs out before the public discovers the Fire that he has been hiding for the past 6 years, when they figure out what has happened his party will be out of power for the next 16 years or more.
It will be very hard for any succeeding party to repair the damage done, but we can only hope that they will find a way.
The Police have arrived at George’s place and have questioned him about the Hole in the Wall. George knows nothing. He was still in bed with a terrible hangover when it took place. Also he does not own a tank and if he did he would have to take lessons to learn to operate it. He was in the Air Force.
There is a new development in the case. A strange looking ‘Beatle Crusher’ drove up and offered Hillary and Jimmy a ride to the seminar. They took the ride as they were eager to leave the company of the "Creepy copywriters" and it appears they may have been taken hostage. The SUV they were seen climbing into was described as “out of this world”. Witness’ say the driver was wearing a black robe and there where some scythes on the roof rack. It was described as seeming to glide over the road. It was noted that three witnesses said they heard the sound of a fife being played. No one could remember seeing the car in the Barrio before.
